About the Role
We are currently looking for two experienced Leading Hands to join our high-performing WA team. This role is a critical part of the site leadership, supporting the Foreman/Supervisor with daily project operations. You will play a key part in managing site activities, quality, safety, and ensuring work is carried out to the highest standard.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Supervisor in daily operations, including site pre-start briefings, toolbox talks, and progress meetings

  • Reinforce Keller values, HSEQ standards, and compliance practices (e.g. SWMS, Worksafe 6, barricading, and Start Cards)

  • Monitor and communicate daily piling sequence, concrete quality, and progress against schedule

  • Ensure QA requirements are met (e.g. ITP hold points, concrete calibration, rig/plant pre-start checks)

  • Motivate and guide the crew to meet performance targets and address underperformance where required

  • Help manage third party interactions and assist in developing traffic and site management plans

  • Monitor HSEQ onsite, escalate issues appropriately, and support continuous improvement initiatives including 5S

  • End-of-day responsibilities include securing plant/equipment, fitting hole covers, and conducting a final site walk

 

About You

  • 5–10 years’ experience in the piling industry (Bored & CFA piling essential)

  • Demonstrated experience in a Leading Hand or similar supervisory role

  • High Risk Work Licence – Rigger/Dogman (Intermediate)

  • Driver’s Licence (Own car preferred)

  • Strong communication and coordination skills

  • Ability to remain calm and motivate teams in a dynamic site environment
